Geometry types
Subdivision Surfaces
Control cage modeling with multiple subdivision schemes: Catmull-Clark, Loop, Doo-Sabin, and Sqrt3. Edge creases for hard edges. The control cage defines shape; the limit surface is what you see and export. All mesh operations work on the control cage.
Spline Surfaces
Exact boundary representation for manufacturing. Subdivision limit surfaces convert to spline patches. Exports to STEP (ISO 10303). Boolean operations (union, difference, intersection) work natively on spline surfaces.
Implicit Surfaces
Signed distance field operations. Define geometry as mathematical functions — blend, offset, repeat. Convert between implicit and subdivision surfaces. Useful for procedural operations that are hard to express as mesh edits.
